Democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) has made her views on the Trump administration clear, but this time, she is “organizing the kids” to get her point across.
Ocasio-Cortez joined a group of kids and a candidate for Lieutenant Governor of New York, Jumaane Williams, to tell the children that they need to help her “fight Trump.”

“I’m the Democratic nominee for Congress so I’m going to go to D.C. and I’m going to be fighting [President Donald] Trump,” Ocasio-Cortez told the group of boys.
The group of boys couldn’t be more excited to hear that someone was going to be “fighting” the president of the United States. The boys cheered and aired their distaste for the president to the likely congresswoman.
Williams was surprised by the kids’ responses, saying, “That’s crazy that the kids get so excited about that.”
Ocasio-Cortez didn’t seem as surprised as Williams. She fed off the kids’ energy, adding, “Exactly, we’re out here, but we need your help to fight Trump.”
The democratic socialists called on the kids to go home and tell their parents or family members to go out and vote for her and Williams.
“In order to do anything about [President Trump], this is what we need you to do. When you go home and you talk to your mom, your dad, your aunt, your grandma, your sister, anybody who’s over the age of 18 that can vote. First, you need to ask your parents to vote, because if they don’t vote then we can’t kick out Trump.”
